The art of relating within conflict

The art of relating within conflict

clare_conorPOPI-Slovakia (The Institute of Processoriented Psychology) under the auspices of Slovak Psychotherapeutic Society invites you to a seminar about conflict.

One of the tendencies within relationships is towards polarities. We may habitually ignore these tensions, or never stop conflicting with people - neither of which really penetrate the situation in order to discover its gifts. Gifts which may include an increase of trust, of well-being, a sense of togetherness or comradeship, possibly a new sense of direction, and maybe even love!

This seminar will focus on how to intervene in conflict, whether personal, familial, work-related or part of a wider social/cultural context. There will be opportunities to use many tools, including:
• working with power and rank dynamics directly in relationship
• how to facilitate both yourself and the other
• how to use different types of experience to cut through being stuck, cycling, enabling resolution
This seminar will be helpful to anyone who has experienced conflict, in any context - personal or professional - for those who are scared or avoid it, as well as those who feel trapped in it.
